Why Homeowners Choose Tom Yancey
Multi-Generational Trust, Not a Franchise
We’re not a national chain or a lead-gen middleman. The Yancey family has been doing roofs in the Sacramento area since 1888 — and the same crew that inspects your roof is the one that fixes it.
Free Drone Roof Inspections
We use aerial drone photography and high-definition imaging to inspect your roof without the guesswork — so you get an honest answer, not a sales pitch.
Honest Quotes, No Pressure Tactics
Homeowners consistently tell us the same thing: we tell them what they actually need, even if that means a repair instead of a full replacement. We’d rather earn a customer for 20 years than push one big invoice.
Licensed, Insured & Built to Last
Every job is backed by our workmanship warranty and manufacturer-backed material warranties — so you’re covered long after the crew leaves.
What Sacramento Homeowners Are Saying
“The crew was professional, fast, and left our yard spotless every single day. Couldn’t be happier with the finished roof.”
“They didn’t try to sell us a full replacement when a repair would do. That kind of honesty is rare in this industry.”
“Same-day inspection, drone photos, and a straight answer — no pressure at all.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to what homeowners ask us before they call.
Correct — no cost, no obligation. We’ll inspect your roof and give you a straight answer, whether that’s “you’re fine” or a written quote.
Yes. We regularly work directly with homeowners’ insurance companies on storm damage, leaks, and roof replacements tied to claims.
In most cases we can schedule an inspection within a day or two — call us and we’ll give you a real timeline, not a runaround.
No — if a repair is the right call, that’s what we’ll recommend. We’d rather do the honest thing than the expensive thing.
